why abseil with mega?
In the past 15 years our team has been responsible for over 50,000 abseil descent’s. Abseiling continues to be a popular choice on our outdoor activity courses as well as being a terrific fundraising event. Our team often manage the training and instruction, as well as providing all the equipment for individual charities who have organized an abseil event of their own.
what if I get nervous?
You are bound to be nervous…we have a wealth of knowledge and the experience of expert instructors on our mega team, who after many years of instructing are skilled in reassuring you and leading you every step of the way. They will help even the most apprehensive participant feel at ease.
is it safe?
Yes. All our abseil events are managed and instructed by our own specially selected instructors using our own equipment and adhering to the most thorough and stringent safety procedures.

who can abseil with mega?
The simple answer is Anyone! But, if you have any medical doubts, then we advise you to consult your GP. Under 18′s must be signed in by a parent or legal guardian at the event.
where can I abseil with mega?
You may abseil throughout the country on one of our open abseil events or at one of our activity courses. Please ask the events team or check the calendar for location and dates.
what is a mega “open” abseil event?
We organize these events where individuals, groups and charities can enter as many or as few participants as they like to take part on behalf of their chosen good cause. This is very popular with both larger charities who can enter large groups and smaller local or regional fundraising groups who often enter a handful of willing participants. This can be organised without a huge commitment or outlay from the charities, resulting in a larger donation, raising significant amounts for very worthwhile causes.
can mega run an abseil for me?
Absolutely! Providing there is a suitable venue (subject to our approval) we can arrange an abseil for you and your charity and add you to the ever growing list of abseils we have organised around the UK on behlf of charities and good causes.
